Good thread on Wirlpool<\/a> about BD ripping, plus Clown_BD<\/a> description<\/a> also check out ToNMT UI<\/a> and its update<\/a> for ripping out a ts.<\/p>\n

Some info on BD the NMT Formus about 1080p using Handbrake<\/a> and\u00c2\u00a0 720p using Handbrake<\/a> and some good info on the Handbrake Forum.<\/a> and another guide on Blu-Ray ripping<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The PCH doesnt like more than 5 Reference Frames for DVD and 4 for BD, and only 3 B-Frames (not sure if this is for both DVD \/ BD) as per this post<\/a> and how to calculate it here<\/a> based on the x264 doco<\/a>. While this good encoding guide<\/a>, suggest that the pch can handle Pyramidal B-Frames.<\/p>\n

I also found this guide on the different x264 options<\/a> and what they can be used for, and some that are considered more up to date here<\/a> and here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
