It seems only the Chassis and Bulkheads are still original on my E-Maxx, lol. Here’s a list of the different upgrades i’ve done to my Brushless E-Maxx.
- Proline Chevy and Ford Body’s one with FPV gear, for on-board footage.
- Traxxas 2 speed gearbox conversion, for crawling
- Traxxas 4 CH High Output Transmitter, so I can change gears
- Ofna 120,000 Wt Diff oil, for LSD effect – better crawling
- Dual servo saver steering mod, better steering
- Integy Aluminium steering blocks (knuckles), more responsive steering
- Traxxas Big Bore shocks with 70Wt Oil, not bad – tend to leak a bit
- Losi 4.1Rate Blue Springs, its a heavy truck
- Boca Bearings, better than stock
- RPM shock towers, flex a bit too much for my liking
- RPM Bulkhead braces, waste of money
- Golden Horizons Aluminium Chassis Brace, moded for 2 speed gear servo
- Integy Titanium front skid plate, seems good
- Golden Horizons Aluminium centre skid plate, seems good
- Integy Aluminium rear skid plate, crap – should have gone GH or Titanium or Spring
- Traxxas Steel centre Drive Shafts, not going to twist these
- Traxxas Steel CVD Drive shafts, with extended Diff cups, great no binding / twisting
- RPM A-Arms, strong and flexible
- Traxxas Stainless hinge pins with E-clips, strong and dont un-screw themselves
- Twin Savox SC-1258TG Servo’s, great servo’s but need alot of current
- Castle 20A BEC Pro, to stop RX cutting out when turning the Savox servo’s
- Proline Trencher tires, tonnes of grip
